April 12th - Building Day 4

We did lots of building today and things are coming together. Again we all found a place that needed love, sat down, took our time and created our legacy.

I took a long time to work on the cow - this was hard work! I found it really hard to work on a design that wasn't mine and with such detail. Its a small area and it had to look like a cow. But I'm happy with its out come as it does look very cowlike:)

We had a great team meeting and covered some of the work needed to be done for the outreach of the project. We have only a few more community dates left, so we really hope to get a good number of past Quadra students, teachers, parents and staff out to work on the project.

Thanks to the media releases we have been putting out about the project we had the Achannel news was out to interview us too. Great to share our stories with all of Victoria.

After a little coaxing the Cameraman even placed a tile, with the help of Jes. Then we were on the 5 o'clock local news. I missed it because I was still working, but Ting, our documentor, got it on tape to add to our project documentation and video :)

So that's it for today.. Still lots of room to mosaic, but the details are coming together. Little evolutions here and there too. Looking forward to watching the panels all get filled up and finished. Soon.
