April 20th - Community Building Day 6

Another great building day. Val and I spent the first hours in the annex tightening up the first panel. Filling in little holes and making it DONE.

First panel is DONE. How exciting. It was moved off the building table and to be displayed as our first finished piece - only grouting left to do :) only :)

I spent time on the horse and again like the cow, it took some time.

We had another visit from the press - the TC photographer was here.

He too placed a piece, with help from Jes. Look for us in the TC this weekend.

We had past teacher _________ come out today and he spent a long time creating Quadra's old logo. It looks great.

We started working on the summer panel 6 - lots of people in this piece… all being active. We also added a spiral to the sky to represent the wind in Victoria.

Val worked on a butterfly, and I did the bees today.

With so many of the details being finished, its all really coming together!
